KARACHI: On Monday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 18.030 billion and the number of lots traded at 19,435.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.457 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 5.064 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.929 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.748 billion), Silver (PKR 881.046 million), DJ (PKR 542.794 million), Platinum (PKR 445.126 million), SP 500 (PKR 268.402 million), Copper (PKR 258.046 million), Natural Gas (PKR 221.373 million), Japan Equity (PKR 167.413 million), Palladium (PKR 39.103 million) and Brent (PKR 8.253 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.003 million were traded.
