KARACHI: Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Zubair here on Friday appointed Prof. Dr. Rafia Baloch as the dean "Surgery and Allied Sciences" faculty, Shaheed Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University, Larkana, with immediate effect.
Prof. Baloch will remain serving at the given position till her date of retirement, that is first of April 2019.
Sindh Governor, also the Chancellor of public sector universities in the province has assigned Karim Hatim, as the member of Karachi University's finance and planning committee, pertaining to Chancellor's representative category.
He through his series of orders has further confirmed the appointment of Prof. Abu Zar Wajdi as the syndicate member of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University, Lyari.
Prof Wajdi, Director, Institute of Health and Business Management, Jinnah Sindh Medical University is replacing Dr. Ghulam Ali Allana previously serving as the BBSUL syndicate meter.
Meanwhile Dr. Bahadur Khan Dahiri, member provincial assembly, PS-28, Shaheed Benazirabad has been approved as the syndicate committee member, prominent personalities category, Liaqut University of Medical and Health Sciences for a period of three years.
All the above mentioned appointments made by the Sindh Governor were said to be in accordance to the recommendations forwarded by the provincial government led by chief minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah.
