An accountability court has resumed on Friday the hearing of National Accountability Bureau's (NAB) Avenfield reference against the Sharifs, as the court continued recording the statement of forensic expert Robert Radley.

Deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar have all appeared before the accountability court along with their lawyer Khawaja Harris. Their lawyer is continuing his questioning Radley, local media reported.

A day earlier, Radley had testified before the court that Calibri font, through which the Avenfield trust deed was prepared, had been available but on a limited scale. While testifying from the Pakistani High Commission in London via video link, Radley said the trust deed was prepared in February 2006 whereas the font was not available commercially before January 2007, hence it was fabricated.

During the investigation carried out by Joint Investigation Team last year, Radley had noted that ''Calibri was not commercially available before January 31, 2007 and as such, neither of the [documents] is correctly dated and [appear] to have been created at some later point in time.

Sharif has been indicted in  Avenfield properties, Flagship Investments and Al-Azizia Mills while Maryam has been accused in the Avenfield properties reference.
