KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.043 billion and the number of lots traded at 15,559.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.967 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.556 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.892 billion), DJ (PKR 739.705 million), Silver (PKR 678.583 million), Crude Oil (PKR 498.524 million), Platinum (PKR 303.145 million), SP 500 (PKR 198.369 million), Copper (PKR 130.670 million), Natural Gas (PKR 51.429 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 26.840 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 11 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 6.695 million were traded.
