Shoaib Akhtar calls for major changes in Pakistan cricket

Pakistan legendary fast bowler, Shaoib Akhtar has called for major improvements in Pakistan cricket structure. The fast bowler was appointed advisor to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Najam Sethi just days ago.
"I am really happy to be given this position because I have always wanted to do something for Pakistan cricket. We have great talent but a structure that needs improvement," he said, quoted DNA.
Earlier, Akhtar was appointed as the adviser to the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on cricket affairs and brand ambassador, the PCB announced on Friday night.
“Akhtar has been appointed advisor to chairman on cricket affairs and brand ambassador PCB,” the cricket board chairman Najam Sethi revealed on social media.

To which Akhtar responded positively, saying he wanted ‘to take Pakistan cricket to the next level’.
“Looking forward to work with Najam Sethi and PCB to take Pakistan cricket to the next level,” Shoaib stated in response to the Chairman’s tweet.
