KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has appointed Syed Irfan Ali (Executive Director SBP as Managing Director of Deposit Protection Corporation. The SBP has made this appointment in pursuance of Section 12(1) of Deposit Protection Corporation Act2016. Syed Irfan Ali has assumed the office with effect from August 3, 2020.
