ISLAMABAD: Around 79 percent coronavirus patients have completely recovered of the total 14,108 confirmed cases in the federal capital, since the outbreak of the deadly disease.
According to District Health Office (DHO) the total active cases in the city are 19 percent of the total. Of the active cases 64 percent are men and 35 percent women.
The city reported 85 new cases on Monday, which took the tally of the Covid-19 patients to 14,108.
Over 10,883 patients have recovered, and 153 have died in the city so far, the official data says.
The main hotspots of the Covid-19 in the city include Sector G-7, Sector G-6, Sector I-8, Sector G-8, and Sector I-10.
As per break-up of the 85 cases, eight cases were reported from Sector G-8, seven from G-7, six from I-8, I-10 five cases, G-9 five cases, G-10 five cases, Ali Pur five cases, F-6 four cases, Shangiani three cases, I-9 three cases, G-5 three cases, F-8 three cases, F-5 three cases, F-11 three cases, two cases each from G-11, F-10, F-7, E-7, E-9, Sohan, Khana Pull, Tarlai, Shah Allah Ditta, Ghauri Town, DHA-2, Bahria Town, Bhara Kahu, Bani Gala, and one each from Monal, Tarno, and Rawat.
The data says that the new cases reported on July 12 were 96, on July 11, 98, on July 10, 98, on July 9, 81, on July 8, 93, July 7, 63, July 6, 85, on July 5, 117, on July 4, 97, on July 3, 113, on July 2 ,170, on July 1, 137, on June 30, 132, on June 29, 248, on June 28, 189, on June 27, 255, on June 26, 271, on June 25, 227, on June 24, 264, on June 23, 307, June 22, 250, on June 21, 383, on June 20, 338, on June 19, 304, on June 18, 395, on June 17, 385, and on June 16, 288.
