LAHORE: The Punjab government by undertaking effective measures has curbed the spread of corona pandemic to a great extent and 51,450 patients have been recovered from coronavirus up till July 9, in Punjab.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar while presiding over meeting here Thursday apprised that 564,893 record corona tests have been conducted in Punjab and 9,587 corona tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours. He highlighted that the total number of corona patients in Punjab is 84,587 and 988 new corona patients have come to surface in the past 24 hours while 26 persons passed away due to corona pandemic.
The meeting reviewed the recommendations with regard to priorities of development projects of the health department. He said steps are being taken to curb the spread of corona pandemic and arrangements were being made for the treatment of patients in hospitals.
