ISLAMABAD: Active cases of the coronavirus in the federal capital has dropped to 31 percent as out of total 13,557 confirmed cases only 4,154 are active, and the remaining 9,403 have fully recovered since the spread of Covid-19 in the country.

According to official data, on Tuesday, the number of new coronavirus cases dropped to 63, the lowest in the last over two months.

At least, 9,403 Covid-19 patients have recovered so far in the city, taking the recovery rate in the city to 69.4 percent, the data says.

Out of total 13,195 cases, 140 people have died in the city, since the outbreak of the highly contagious virus.

The data says that the new cases reported on July 6 were 85, on July 5, 117, on July 4, 97, on July 3, 113, on July 2 ,170, on July 1, 137, on June 30, 132, on June 29, 248, on June 28, 189, on June 27, 255, on June 26, 271, on June 25, 227, on June 24, 264, on June 23, 307, June 22, 250, on June 21, 383, on June 20, 338, on June 19, 304, on June 18, 395, on June 17, 385, and on June 16, 288.

Similarly, on June 15, 635, on June 14, 771, on June 13, 464, on June 12, 463 , on June 11, 273, on June 10, 178, on June 9, 456, on June 8, 350, on June 7, 656, on June 6, 377, on June 5, 402, on June 4, 356, and on June 3, 292.
