Nepra takes notice of complaints against KE

ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has taken a serious notice of the load-shedding complaints against K-Electric in Karachi.

In this regard, the Authority has decided to hold a public hearing on July 10, 2020 (Friday) via a video link. All interested stakeholders and general public may participate in the above hearing to share their views/comments regarding load shedding position in Karachi .

Recently, the PTI and MQM leadership protested outside the offices of KE and asked the federal government to end exclusivity of KE in the city and allow other companies to operate.
