Airblue resumes flight operations for UAE amid strict SOPs

Pakistani air carrier, Airblue on Monday announced to resume flight operations to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), however, under strict safety measures and protocols amid coronavirus pandemic.
In order to fly through Airblue, the passengers would need to follow SOPs including, COVID-19 test results from Chughtai Lab only, which will need to be taken within 96 hours of flight.
The passengers would further need to seek approval from UAE authorities i.e. Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) or the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
Earlier, the UAE based airline Emirates has announced to resume its flight operations in Pakistan. The air carrier will provide service in three cities of Pakistan namely Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
"Following the receipt of relevant government approvals, Emirates has resumed passenger services to Pakistan. Customers can travel to and from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad if they meet the requirements of their destination," an Emirates spokesperson said, quoted Khaleej Times.
