Seven-day anti-polio drive begins in Karachi

ISLAMABAD: The second seven-day anti-Polio campaign began in Karachi on Monday under tight security to immunize children under the age of five years

According to Radio Pakistan, around two point three million children of less than five years' age will be administered polio drops in one hundred eighty-eight Union Councils of the city.

Nine thousand polio workers will are taking part in the campaign.

Special arrangements have been made for security of the polio workers.
