PSL champs grab spin legend for third edition

Pakistan Super League (PSL) champion Peshawar Zalmi has appointed legendary off spinner Saqlain Mushtaq, as spin bowling consultant for the upcoming edition.

“Welcome to the Zalmi Family, @Saqlain_Mushtaq! The spin bowling maestro joins us as our spin bowling consultant for upcoming edition of the HBLPSL,” stated Zalmis on social media.

Zalmi’s skipper Darren Sammy, celebrated Saqlain’s inclusion in this year PSL and expressed joy over the news on social media,.

The legendary off spinner, known as the pioneer of Doosra and other bowling varieties has claimed 496 wickets in international cricket, and has served as spin consultant for various teams including England.

The PSL season 3 will kick-off from February 22 with a match between defending champions Peshawar Zalmi and debutants Mutlan Sultans.
