RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Tuesday at 24,561.25 points with a negative change of -187.99 and volume of 165,801,800 shares. High and Low were 24,749.24 and 24,282.84 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 7 were up, 21 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 237,956,010 shares. Total companies traded were 370 of which 114 were positive, 239 were negative and 17 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 29,105,500 shares. It was followed by Textile Composite with a total traded volume of 26,379,700 shares.
