Yasir, Hammad guide Pakistan Twenty20 Federation team to 55 runs victory

Test discarded Yasir Hameed with his knock of 77 runs and Hammad-ul-Hasan's four wickets for 19 runs guided Pakistan to 55 runs victory in the first match of the three-matches Play for Peace Twenty20 Pakistan-Afghanistan Cricket Series played here at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Pakistan's skipper Yasir Hameed hammered a cracking 77 runs laced with four sixes and seven boundaries while spinner Hammad-ul-Hasan took two wickets for 19 runs in his four overs spell. Both played vital roles in the team's success against the visitors.

Yasir innings laced with six boundaries and four sixes off 51 balls. He was bowled by Khyber Khan.
Rehan Afridi, the number four batsman, hit an unbeaten knock of 47 runs off 26 balls with four boundaries and one six, was the second best scorer for Pakistan. He smashed all the Afghan bowlers with some beautiful and lofting shorts. Nawaz Ahmad made 17 runs with one boundary. Opener Fawad Ali (6) runs off 8 balls, Iftikhar Ahmad 13 were the other runs takers. For Afghanistan Twenty20 Cricket Federation team Khyber Khan, Abdullah Mazari, Syed Mujtaba and Dil Agha took one wicket each.
In reply to 177 runs target, the Afghanistan team failed to chase the target and scored 122 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Only Muhammad Bilal, who was stamp out by Rehan Afridi off Hammad, made elegant 56 runs off 46 balls with nine cracking boundaries and Javed Safi made 21 runs off 22 balls with two boundaries. Khyber Khan made 11 runs, none of the other batsmen could cross the double figures.
