At least two persons were killed in separate incidents at various parts of the metropolis here on Saturday. According to police, a young man was shot dead near his home in the limits of Sharafi Goth police station. According to Police, the victim identified as 24-year-old Yasir Malik was targeted by armed riders near his home located in Sector 89 near Qaddafi Chowk. He was hit by multiple bullets and died on the spot.
The body was later shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico legal formalities. Police said the victim was arrested along with his aide few weeks ago and was recently released on bail, and added the victim hailed from Mansehra and had criminal records.
In another incident, a private security guard received fatal bullet wounds when the gun of his colleague discharged bullet accidentally at Orangi Town on Saturday. The victim Ahsan Rind, 24 and his colleague Wali Dad were deployed at Jafrani Steel Mills located between industrial area of Orangi Town and Site. The deceased received single bullet on his chest and died on the spot. The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed for medico legal formalities.
