KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 24,909.12 points with a positive change of 418.18 and volume of 179,018,600 shares. High and Low were 24,946.07 and 24,389.71 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 28 were up, 2 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 294,354,010 shares. Total companies traded were 396 of which 295 were positive, 87 were negative and 14 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 47,872,400 shares. It was followed by Textile Spinning with a total traded volume of 26,778,600 shares.
