405 outlaws held, arms, narcotics confiscated

Senior Superintendent of Police Khairpur, Irfan Baloch has informed, in the monthly performance report, that police arrested 368 absconders, 27 criminals/dacoits and 10 proclaimed offenders, whereas two dacoits were killed in encounter.
During raids in various areas of the district, police recovered two Kalashnikovs, 12 shotguns, 22 pistols, one rifle, four revolvers, carbine, 35 cartridges and 82 rounds. Police also recovered nine kg 960 grams of chars, nine kg 500 grams of 'bhang', 155 grams of heroine and five bottles of wine. Taking preventive action, police arrested 12 anti-social elements u/s 107-CRPC, two vagabonds, u/s 109-CRPC and two 'patharidars'.
