The gold price on Thursday slumped by Rs 1300 per tola to Rs 55400 on the local market, traders said.The price of gold per 10-gram also dipped by Rs 1150 to Rs 47485 during a single day trading. On the global market, the precious metal price was cited $1620 per ounce down by $1662.
