The University of Sindh has declared to observe every Saturday as official holiday and notified new office timings for winter with effect from October 1. According to a notification issued by the SU Registrar on Wednesday, Vice Chancellor of the University Dr Nazir A Mughal has approved Saturday as official holiday in order to save energy, fuel and water.
The university will observe new office timings during winter from Monday to Friday with effect from Saturday, October, 01,2011. The new timings of SU administration will be from 8.30 am to 4.15 pm while timings of the teaching faculty will be from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
