Founder Chairman of Pak-USA Business Council and VP SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pakistan Chapter Iftikhar Ali Malik has urged the US administration to allow duty free access to Pakistani merchandise. Talking to the new US Consul General in Lahore Nina Maria Fite, he said that in the fast changing global scenario, both the US and Pakistan should allow an easy access to their markets.
Former Caretaker Federal Minister Shahzada Alam Monnoo, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry's President Shahzad Ali Malik, and other members were also present. Malik said that Pakistan deserves more US co-operation in all sectors because it has helped a lot in war on terror being a frontline ally of the US. The US should help Pakistan in overcoming energy shortage being faced by it for the last many years, he added.
