Torture on two students: LHC CJ takes suo motu notice

The Lahore High Court Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry here Tuesday took suo motu notice against brutal torture on two students of Bahaudin Zikriya University Multan by activists of a student union. The Chief Justice directed Multan sessions judge to hold an inquiry of the incident and submit his report to the High Court.
According to news items published in different newspapers the activists of a student union abducted Hassan and Wasim, and took them to a hall of the varsity where they subjected them to inhumane treatment. The culprits also filmed their brutal act and sent the videos to family of the victim students. According to media reports, father of Wasim died with shock after seeing that video clip.
