Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajaraan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chapter has expressed concern over the growing robberies at traders' houses; it also demanded of the provincial government and the police high-ups to take stern action against the looters, and provide them appropriate security.
In a press release issued here on Saturday, the Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajraan, provincial President Sharafat Ali Mubarak, General Secretary Shuakat Ali Khan, Anjumaan-e-Tajraan President Peshawar chapter Haji Mohammad Afzal, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KPCCI) Vice-President Javed Akhtar along with a number of traders condemned the robbery at the house of Haji Sattar Gul and termed it as a great failure on the part of police and administration in provision of security.
They said that it is matter of grave concern for the provincial government over growing daylight robberies. The traders said that the government had failed to protect life and property of the masses. Owing to apathy of authority concerned, they said that people, especially traders are feeling insecure in prevailing situation.
The members of the business community have demanded of the provincial government, police high-ups, and administration to take prompt notice of robbery at the house of Haji Sattar Gul and arrest the dacoits immediately. They also demanded for taking prompt steps for provision of adequate security and establishment of everlasting peace in the provincial metropolis.
