Mojaz Foundation, an NGO working for economic and social empowerment of marginalized communities of Punjab, celebrated its third anniversary in Islamabad, Dr Zafar Qadir chairperson of NDMA was the guest of honour on the event, Kamran Akbar, Aazar W. Bhandara, Sajjad Imran, Ramesh Singh Arora, member board of director Mojaz Foundation and many other leading development national and international development professionals participated in the event.
All the participants were highly appreciative of Mojaz Foundation's achievements Dr Zafar Qadir while addressing the participants appreciated the efforts of Mojaz foundation and talked highly about its efforts in flood-hit areas, and he shared with participants that he wants to see similar spirit in other organisation working in emergency situation.
He pledged his support and expressed his desire to partner with Mojaz Foundation for future intervention and he further invited Singh to participate in policy dialogue for upcoming disaster management policy. This year theme of anniversary was 'Recognising Support and Achievements'. Shields were distributed to partners to commemorate their support, and to staff for their relentless and persistent efforts.-PR
