All major rivers flowing below flood level

All major rivers in the country are flowing below flood level, say a Met Office report. According to the Met Department, yesterday's trough of westerly wave over north-east Afghanistan now lies over Kashmir and adjoining areas while a weak seasonal low lies over north-east Balochistan. A moist current from the Arabian sea is reaching Punjab upto 3000 feet.
Rainfall recorded in (mm) during past 24 hrs (upto 0800 pst): Domel 40, Malam Jabba 24, Muzaffarabad 22, Talhatta 20, Mangla 17, Daggar and Kakul 16 (each), Islamabad (Dhamial 15, Airport 4), Palandri 15, Shinkiari, Kallar, Kotnaina, Nauseri and Kotli 12 (each), Kamra 11, Balakot 10, Besham 9, Sara-i-Alamgir 8, Kohat 7, Barkhan 6, Lower Dir 5, Jhelum 4, Saidu Sharif 3, Peshawar (Airport 2, City trace), Chattarkallas, Shakargarh, Garhidopatta and Dir 2(each), Dara-e-Tang, Pattan, Rawalakot, Oghi, Jassar, Sharqpur, Gujranwala (Cantt) and Murree 1(each), Risalpur, Astore, Badin, Sialkot (Cantt) trace.
