Sindh Assembly Speaker, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that PPP would continue the mission of its founder leader Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto to make the country a prosperous country.
"A prosperous State is not possible without the policy of unity and reconciliation as envisaged by our late Shaheed leaders," said Nisar Khuhro here Sunday while addressing a seminar on 'Shaheed Benazir Bhutto - the Architect of Reconciliation' here on Sunday organised by Provincial Minister for Electric Power, Shazia Marri.
"It was our great visionary leader who followed the footsteps of her father in the greater national interest to serve the poor masses and protect democracy without any fear," Khuhro observed. He said the present leadership would continue the mission of the great 'Shaheeds' and complete their mission without any compromise on the principles. "Our leadership never compromised with any dictatorial regimes and this is the hallmark, which is today being followed by our workers at grassroots level," he added. The host of the seminar, Shazia Marri, said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was the ideal and icon of democracy. She said that the seminar will be followed by a series of other lectures and seminars to highlight various aspects of the first legendary women leader of the present times and assured that such seminars would be organised in future as well.
