Two brothers were gunned down by rivals outside a courtroom on Saturday morning while their lawyer received severe bullet injuries. According to police, Sarwer Khan's group people resorted to indiscriminate firing at their rivals (Saleem Khan's group) outside the courtroom where both the parties were to appear before Civil Judge Anwar-ul-Haq.
Police said Shahbaz Khan and Niaz Khan, sons of Anwer, were shot dead after exchange of hot words between the rivals. The deceased brothers were nephews of late Saleem. Critically injured Advocate Dilawer was hospitalised where he was in serious condition. Residents of a nearby village, Mauza Pandurian, the two group harboured enmity as Sarwer Khan's group had killed major Retd Saleem Khan.
