Prime Minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has appointed Professor Zafar Iqbal, as chairman and dean of Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute (SZPGMI) Lahore. The Prime Minister approved the appointment, based on the recommendations of the Selection Board.
He directed the newly appointed chairman SZPGMI to undertake meaningful reforms in the working of the institution, including structural ones to cater to the needs of a growing medical facility.
