The Challan in the case of unarmed Sarfaraz Shah's extra judicial killing by Rangers personnel was presented before an Anti Terrorism Court (ATC), here on Saturday. The court approved the challan and transferred the case to the Anti-Terrorism Court 1. Public Prosecutor, Irshad Iqbal Cheema submitted the Challan which includes statements of 46 witnesses, two of them eye witnesses.
Deputy Inspector General Police and investigation officer in the case Sultan Khuwaja also appeared before the court. Iqbal Cheema said that police had collected substantial proves against the accused. He said that 14 objects, including Rangers Vehicle and arms had been declared property of the case. The prosecutor said there were two eyewitnesses and 46 other whiteness in the case. Fourteen pieces of evidence in connection with the case have been gathered including a weapon, blood-soaked clothes (of Sarfaraz Shah) and a cell phone of Rangers.
