A 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck eastern Japan Saturday, seismologists said, rattling one of the areas hardest hit by the March 11 quake and tsunami disasters. The quake hit at 8:31 pm (1131 GMT) about 110 kilometres (70 miles) east of Fukushima near the east coast of Honshu at a depth of 30 kilometres, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
