KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah Friday met Mayor of London Sadiq Khan at the Chief Minister house.
According to a spokesman for the chief minister house, they agreed on the exchange of trade-delegations.
The Sindh chief minister exchanging views with the Mayor said that Sindh has numerous opportunities of investment. The investment can be done in renewable energy, food processing, textile, agriculture and many other sectors.
He said that Sindh and London can work together on the rehabilitation of Sukkur Barrage, up-gradation of irrigation system etc.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said that his Deputy Mayor Rajesh is also a businessman and he will lead a delegation of traders towards Sindh.
Earlier, the chief minister welcomed the Mayor of London to the Chief Minister House and introduced him to the provincial cabinet members and senior bureaucrats.
The mayor praised the beautiful building of the chief minister house and appreciated the chief minister for restoring peace in Karachi.
Besides other ministers Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani and Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, Sindh Chief Secretary Rizwan Memon, Planning and Development Chairman Mohammed Waseem, Principal Secretary to Sindh chief minister Sohail Rajput were also present.
