KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 22,630.50 points with a positive change of 650.91 and volume of 84,407,500 shares. High and Low were 22,630.92 and 21,979.59 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 28 were up, 1 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 147,763,110 shares. Total companies traded were 386 of which 288 were positive, 78 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 31,207,050 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 16,865,500 shares.
