Muhammad Ayub Mughal: a symbol of dynamic leadership

After long and hectic efforts, Mr Muhammad Ayub Mughal has succeeded in getting recognised used machinery sector not only into Chamber of Commerce and Industry but also in the high offices of Govt. Policy Circles. He was elected Executive Member FCCI in 2009 and with his dynamic leadership qualities playing a role of a true representative of used machinery sector.
He is working now-a-days as Senior Vise President of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Since assuming the charge as SVP, he has been accompanying the official trade delegations abroad representing business community and exploring new avenues for Pakistani products in International Markets. He is also a president of Faisalabad Old & Used Machinery Association working for the betterment of used machinery importers since long.
Ayub paid rich tributes to the pro-active services rendered by Mian Javed Iqbal, Group Leader of FCCI and Director of Sitara Group of industries to make successful this August institution committed to resolving all the issues of not only Textile Sector but also other trade groups in particular.
Talking to Newsmen, Muhammad Ayub Mughal said that with the induction of Appendix-C into trade policy banning import a host of used machinery items rusticating at dry ports across the country since long period Govt. has deprived itself of huge revenues fetched by used machinery importers for national kitty. He demanded the Govt. to lift ban on Used Machinery parts at once and provide a level playing field to used machinery importers at par with other business community importing different items. He also stressed Commerce Ministry of officials to hold dialogue with used machinery importers to solve matters facing this sector.
He expressed their Heartiest Felicitations to Mr Sohail Ahmad, Chairman, FBR, Mr Munir Qureshi, Member Customs, FBR, Mr Umer Farooq, Chief Collector Customs, and Mr Khawar Farid Manika, Collector, Model Custom Collectorate, Faisalabad on occasion of International Custom Day and fully acknowledge the contribution of customs in the National Economic & their close liaison with TRADE for providing CUSTOMS CLEARANCE at their door-step. He also appreciated the cordial & congenial working relationship between FAISALABAD CUSTOMS & TRADERS and pledge to promote it further.
