ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Friday issued price list of vegetables and fruits in the markets of Federal Capital.
According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar markets are as follows:
Potato Rs 30/27 per Kg, Onion Rs 52/45, Tomato Rs 136/120, Ginger Rs 146/118, Garlic Dasi Rs 90/75, Garlic (Quetta) Rs 107/86, Lemon Rs 108/79, Lady Finger Rs 45/36, Pumpkin Rs 50/40, Brinjal Rs 27/21, Peas Rs 157/122, Farsh Bean Rs 57/45, Cucumber Rs 36/27, Capsicum Rs 94/84, Green Chilli Rs 52/42, Cauliflower Rs 42/30, Cabbage Rs 32/27, Bitter Gourd Rs 68/51, Green Zucchini RS 42/33, Spinach Rs 16/12, Raddish Rs 26/21, Turnip Rs 52/41, Yam Rs 21/18, and Carrot Rs 66/50.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Golden Rs 100/70, Apple China Rs 175/135, Papita Rs 112/88, Banana Pak Rs 50/40, Apple New Zealand Rs 260/200, Pear China Rs 170/110, Meetha Rs 150/110, Guava Rs 50/38 and Grapes Rs 175/135.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any complaint against the shopkeepers.
