KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Tuesday at 22,012.60 points with a negative change of -462.61 and volume of 92,516,600 shares. High and Low were 22,559.58 and 21,966.28 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 5 were up, 25 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 130,146,300 shares. Total companies traded were 380 of which 61 were positive, 306 were negative and 13 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 19,220,300 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 19,181,000 shares.

The top three advancers were Unilever Pakistan Food Limited with a volume of 100 and price per share of 6,550 (300.00), Philip Morris (Pakistan) Limited with a volume of 100 and price per share of 2,956.67 (33.99), Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited with a volume of 400 and price per share of 2,375 (25.00).

The top three decliners were Bata Pakistan Limited with a volume of 140 and price per share of 2,930.99 (-154.26), Mari Petroleum Company Limited with a volume of 3,480 and price per share of 1,519.05 (-79.95), Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited with a volume of 40 and price per share of 1,453.26 (-76.48).
