KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 23,664.93 points with a negative change of -317.88 and volume of 114,981,300 shares. High and Low were 24,089.17 and 23,627.27 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 10 were up, 20 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 165,516,140 shares. Total companies traded were 361 of which 148 were positive, 200 were negative and 13 were unchanged.

Engineering was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 22,234,000 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 19,080,610 shares.
