KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 23,982.81 points with a positive change of 791.01 and volume of 99,777,900 shares. High and Low were 24,000.36 and 23,189.25 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 29 were up, 0 were down and 1 was unchanged.
Total volume traded in the market was 158,319,850 shares. Total companies traded were 373 of which 307 were positive, 56 were negative and 10 were unchanged.
Engineering was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 18,690,700 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 17,460,500 shares.
