RECORDER REPORT: PSX, BRIndex-30 update

KARACHI: Thursday 13, July 2017 until 12:19, BRIndex 30 was at 23,278 with a positive change of 239.63 and volume of 36,012,800 shares.

High and low were 23,492.87 and 23,240 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 54,234,720 shares with 30 total traded companies out of which 16 were up. 13 were down and 1 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,308,600 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 7,765,200 shares.

The three top traded companies were K-Electric Limited with a volume of 12,606,500 and price per share of 6.91 (0.15), TRG Pakistan Limited with a volume of 3,244,000 and price per share of 36.10 (-0.03), The Bank of Punjab with a volume of 2,592,000 and price per share of 11.55 (0.23).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pakistan Limited with a volume of 300 and price per share of 2,160 (59.61), Island Textile Mills Limited with a volume of 50 and price per share of 966 (45.25), Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited with a volume of 120 and price per share of 2,400 (34.00).

The top three decliners were Atlas Honda Limited with a volume of 650 and price per share of 550.02 (-17.95), Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited with a volume of 3,650 and price per share of 650 (-17.20), Service Industries Limited with a volume of 80 and price per share of 1,260 (-17.01).
