RECORDER REPORT-PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48586.11 with a positive change of 296.45 and volume of 56,040,110 shares.

High and Low were 48727.44 and 48289.66 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 97,217,680 shares with 325 total traded companies out of which 218 were up, 91 were down and 16 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 30,486,600 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 7,735,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were B.O.Punjab with a volume of 17,505,500 and price per share of 16.26 (0.55), Habib Bank with a volume 6,213,200 of price per share of 289.00 (5.14), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 4,896,000 of price per share of 53.42 (0.78).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 2597.12 (123.67), Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7850.00 (50.00) and Sanofi-Aventis share of 2049.00 (48.85).

The top three decliners were Highnoon (Lab) with price per share of 648.00 (19.96), Sitara Chemical with price per share of 540.00 (15.00) and Pakistan Cables per share of 305.00 (9.99).
