RECORDER REPORT-PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48315.81 with a negative change of 339.91 and volume of 36,868,180 shares.

High and Low were 48662.51 and 48265.43 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 78,360,200 shares with 312 total traded companies out of which 71 were up, 228 were down and 13 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 12,321,950 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 10,463,100 shares.

The three top traded companies were Power Cement Ltd. with a volume of 7,044,000 and price per share of 18.83 (0.51), Pak Elektron with a volume 1,173,000 of price per share of 86.05 (0.14), Flying Cement with a volume 810,500 of price per share of 20.10 (0.93).

The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 6250.00 (215.28), Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 2200.00 (100.00) and Nestle Pakistan share of 9050.00 (50.00).

The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7711.00 (188.00), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 2275.24 (119.74) and Sanofi-Aventis per share of 1990.92 (104.78).
