KARACHI: A fire that erupted in a garment factory in Karachi's Landhi area on Friday afternoon, has been put down after 26 hours' efforts, an official of the Central Fire Brigade said on Saturday.
He further pointed out that the process of cooling was still going on.
A snorkel, two water bowsers and 13 fire tenders of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) fought the blaze.
The official of the Central Fire Brigade said that no one was injured in the incident.
The cause of the fire as well as the extent of the damage could not be ascertained immediately, it was further stated.
