imageKARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that Sindh government was interested to work with Belarus government and its private sectors in different sectors such as manufacturing, solid waste management, coal mining, energy and exchange of Cultural delegation.

This he said while holding a meeting with a six-member delegation of Belarus led by its Industries Minister Vitaly Vovk, deputy Culture Minister Vasilij, and others, said a statement on Thursday.

The CM Sindh was assisted by provincial ministers, Manzoor Wassan, Syed Sardar Shah, Chief Secretary Rizwan Memon, Principal Secretary to CM Naveed Kamran Baloch, Chairperson Sindh Investment Board Naheed Memon and others.

The CM Sindh said that there were vast opportunities of investment in Sindh.

The tractor manufacturing plant, if installed in Sindh would avail the market of whole Pakistan. The tractors of Belarus are very popular in Sindh.

He said that the coal-mining machinery of Belarus was most successful.

The Sindh government is leading partners of Sindh-Engro Mining company for which machinery was used. The visiting Industries Minister said that they normally provide machinery with engineering services.

This is a combined package, he said and added that he would talk to his government to relax the policy.

The CM Sindh told the visiting guest that the Chinese engineers working for Thar mining have already visited Belarus to inspect the mining machinery and now they are planning to visit Iran to witness demonstration (where Belarus machinery was being used for mining).

Culture Minister Syed Sardar Shah also discussed cultural activities being held here and at Belarus and they agreed to exchange the cultural delegations.

The visiting delegation invited the chief minister to visit Belarus to see waste management system and tractor industry.

The CM Sindh presented them Sindhi caps, ajraks, memento of Sindh Chief Minister and CDs of Sindhi music.
