GALLE: Bangladesh reached 133-2 at stumps on the second day of their first Test against Sri Lanka at the Galle International Stadium on Wednesday.
Soumya Sarkar was 66 not out while Tamim Iqbal made 57 in the tourists' response to Sri Lanka's first innings total of 494.
Kusal Mendis top-scored for the hosts with 194 while Asela Gunaratne made 85. Spinner Mehedi Hasan was the pick of the Bangladeshi bowlers, finishing with figures of 4-113.
