LSE sheds 99.67 points
LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange shed by 99.67 points on Wednesday as LSE-25 index opened with 3190.83 and closed at 3091.16 points.
The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.101 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.342 million shares, showing a difference of 758,557 shares. While, out of the total 103 active scrips 9 moved up, 61 remained equal and 33 shed values.
Lucky Cement Limited, Kohat Cement Company Limited and Dawood Hercules Corporation were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs1.27, Rs1.00 and Rs0.82 respectively.
Engro Corporation Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Company and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim lost their per share value by Rs5.79, Rs5.05 and Rs3.07 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fatima Fertilizer Company with 550,055 shares, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim with 515,761 shares and Lotte Pakistan (PTA) Limited with 362,400 shares.
