LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange gained 13.86 points on Tuesday, as LSE-25 index opened with 3176.47 and closed at 3190.33 points. The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 2.342 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.727 million shares, showing a difference of 385,117 shares. While, out of the total 96 active scrips 21 moved up, 55 remained equal and 20 shed values.
MCB Bank Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Lucky Cement Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.73, Rs 1.75 and Rs 1.53 respectively.
Engro Corporation Limited, Nishat Mills Limited and Kot Addu Power Company lost their per share value by Rs 4.72, Rs 2.23 and Rs 1.45 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fatima Fertilizer Company with turnover of 558,601 shares, Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 257,960 and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim with 230,311 shares.
