RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Monday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 43110.91 with a positive change of 111.25 and volume of 44,473,730 shares.

High and Low were 43184.92 and 42999.66 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 235,443,550 shares with 375 total traded companies out of which 244 were up, 121 were down and 10 were unchanged.

CHEMICLAS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 36,486,720 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 27,340,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were Lotte Chemical with a volume of 19,147,500 and price per share of 9.03 (0.72), Media Times Ltd with a volume 14,039,000 of price per share of 6.02 (0.62), Pervez Ahmed with a volume 9,562,000 of price per share of 3.12 (0.24).

The top three advancers were Philip Morris Pak. with price per share 2020.00 (90.00), Rafhan Maize(XD) with price per share of 7650.00 (90.00) and Service Ind.Ltd share of 1615.93 (76.94).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4555.00 (33.77), Siemens Pak. with price per share of 1150.00 (26.85) and Colgate Palmolive per share of 1675.00 (24.00).
