HAMILTON: Play resumed on the third day of the second Test between Pakistan and New Zealand after a rain delay of nearly three hours on Sunday.
In reply to New Zealand's 271, Pakistan were 201-8 when play was halted six balls after the lunch break.
Play eventually resumed 15 minutes into the final session, with Babar Azam on 81 and Mohammad Amir on 5.
Rain restricted play on the first day to just 21 overs and further showers are forecast over the next two days.
New Zealand won the first Test and need only a draw in Hamilton for their first series win over Pakistan in 31 years.
