imageLAHORE: Head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) and Chairman Kashmir Committee, Maulana Fazalur Rehman here on Saturday met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and discussed with him matters of mutual interest, national affairs and situation in Indain Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

Both the leaders strongly condemned worst atrocities committed by Indian army on unarmed Kashmiri people in IOK and its unprovoked activities on the Line of Control and expressed complete solidarity with Kashmiri people and bereaved families of martyrs.

On this occasion, the chief minister said cruelties of Indian army on innocent Kashmiri people had crossed every limit.

He said conscience of the international community would have to awaken for supporting right to self-determination of Kashmiris.

He said that Pakistan would continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiri sisters and brothers.

Kashmir was an incomplete agenda of partition of India and solution of Kashmir dispute was vital for lasting peace in the region, he added.

He said brave Pakistan army was fully capable to defend the country.

Maulana Fazalur Rehman said stubbornness and cruelties of India had failed to snatch right to self-determination from Kashmiri people.
