RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 42918.05 with a negative change of -31.68 and volume of 66,403,640 shares.

High and Low were 43054.24 and 42907.07 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 270,798,570shares with 360 total traded companies out of which 202 were up, 147 were down and 11 were unchanged.

TEXTILE COMPOSITE was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 36,267,700 shares. It was followed by TEXTILE SPINNING with a total traded volume of 32,378,100 shares.

The three top traded companies were Amtex Limited. with a volume of 18,895,500 and price per share of 3.63 (0.54), Azgard Nine. with a volume 17,715,000 of price per share of 9.35 (0.23), Pervez Ahmed with a volume 12,513,500 of price per share of 2.95 (0.21).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2216.49 (105.54), Wyeth Pak Ltd. with price per share of 4600.00 (77.46) and Service Ind.Ltd.. share of 1545.00 (67.65).

The top three decliners were Siemens Pak. with price per share of. 1121.00 (-48.00), AL-Abbas Sugar.with price per share of 275.34 (-14.49) and Murree BreweryXD per share of 958.15 (-10.73).
