imageISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister of Romania Ponta held a meeting with Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain on Thursday at Expo Centre, Karachi and discussed matters of bilateral importance.

The minister said that Pakistan considered Romania as a close, friendly and important country in the region and desired that existing relations between the two countries be converted into active interaction in the field of defence.

Both sides stressed on the need for frequent exchange of visits by the technicians in order to identify more areas of cooperation.

The minister thanked the delegates for their participation in IDEAS-2016.
